Stalking of Employee in Housing Office

The Facts

 A management level employee working in the housing office was target of stalking by a former personal relationship.

The former relationship called the insured, sent emails to insured leadership, and continued to reach out to the employee. The contacts contained veiled threats and negative accusations about the employee and her “risky” lifestyle. 

Our Response

The insured received the following services:

  • A Crisis Management Consultation which included advise on contacting law enforcement, obtaining a restraining order, and enhancing security
  • Social media research conducted by CrisisRisk to ascertain risk behavior by the perpetrator
