A person wielding a knife was threatening housing tenants on the sidewalk in front of their building. A tenant, observing from his balcony, went down on the sidewalk and followed the perpetrator across the street.
The tenant was then stabbed by the perpetrator and died. While not a Deadly Weapon Event under the policy, as the stabbing occurred off premises, this was treated as a 'Circumstance'.
