The Actuarial function at Beazley comprises a range of diverse teams whose goal is to fundamentally help manage risk and provide insights to the business through complex modelling and statistical analysis.
 
Our Actuarial function is made up of Reserving, Capital, Analytics, Pricing, IFRS 17 & Reporting and BIDAC teams which are overseen by the Chief Actuary. We team members in the UK, Republic of Ireland and across the US.
 
Our actuaries are experts in their areas, undergoing years of professional qualifications as well as having significant industry experience and keeping up to date with industry developments to ensure we stay at the cutting edge of our profession.

Professional Development Information

Alongside the Beazley UK Early Careers Academy Development offering, you will also work on development and progression pathways specific to your chosen programme.

Upon completion of the 2-year programme, pending review, successful Actuaries will be promoted to Assistant Actuary, where you will continue to progress with your professional qualification.

Entry Criteria  

  • A-Level Maths Grade A or above
  • 1st or 2:1 in any numerical degree
