Beazley continues North American property growth with the appointment of Lindsay Shipper

Demand for specialist property underwriting expertise in North America continues to rise and Beazley is investing to grow.

Beazley, the leading specialty insurer, has announced the appointment of Lindsay Shipper as Head of Commercial Property, North America, effective 1st April 2025. Reporting to Richard Montminy, Group Head of Property Risks, Mrs Shipper will be based in Atlanta, GA. 

Mrs Shipper brings expertise and extensive broker insight to Beazley, with close to two decades experience in the property market. She joins from Marsh, where in her 16-year career she held a number of senior positions, most recently Managing Director, Southeast Zone Property Leader. 

Beazley has built a strong track record in the specialty property market, particularly in the US excess and surplus arena and most recently has extended the global reach of its property underwriting into the European market.
