An insured processing facility was located in a high crime neighborhood. Employees were becoming noticeably more aggressive. Upon termination, many walked out the door angry. Rival gang members were employed at the same facility.
Knives and box cutters were commonly found, with employees responding they were needed for self defense. Employee was killed away from the insured premises by another employee whilst walking home. While not a covered event, this was treated as a Circumstance under the policy.
